How well the group managed people and how well the group managed health and safety issues

How well the group managed people

I feel that overall, the group managed people very well. Me and Mia had the main responsibilities in regard to filming, and we organised timings to meet with the people who we interviewed such as the student mentor Patrina, the director of the college Jonathan Stewart, Media teacher Oke Dafe and the students such as Josh Boon. We all contributed towards the editing and we all agreed on certain time slots to focus on the editing, in and outside of lessons.  We also had to instruct our student actor Josh Boon on how we required him to act in the scene of him arguing with Oke. We made him a script with his lines and described to him the body language, facial expressions and tone of voice that he had to use. For the teachers and students that we interviewed, we also made an individual series of questions for each individual depending on their job role or the scenario.
How well the group managed Health and Safety issues

I think that overall we managed health and safety issues very well. I made a risk assessment containing the health and safety issues that we might have encountered and what we could do to prevent them arising.

Tripping on wires/ furniture whilst filming
Ensure all wires are tucked away and chairs are tucked into tables.
Getting RSI/ headaches/ stress from editing on the Macs for long periods of time
Take regular breaks and adjust screen brightness to lower strain on eyes.
Backaches from editing for long periods of time
Adjust 5 point chair to a position which supports the editor's back.
Dropping equipment such as cameras and tripods which could cause damage or injury
Put hand through strap on camera and carry tripod around without the legs extended with two hands.
Filming in dark environments which could lead to falling/ tripping over objects that we couldn't see
Use adequate lighting in dark environments.
